Ontario 150 Celebration

  The Township of Morley is hosting an Ontario 150 Celebration!
Together with the Stratton Recreation Society and the Stratton Best Start Hub we are planning to have a fun filled day with lots of activities for all ages. The day will start off with the Stratton Recreation's Annual Pie Run, followed by a Parade, BBQ, Children's Activites, Baseball Games, Local Vendors, Local Talent and a Dinner. We are in desparate need of volunteers to help out so any students needing community hours, Now is your chance - give the office a call 483-5455. We are also thinking of extra events such as a game of tug of war and doing a time capsule but again, We need volunteers!! Please call if you can help out with any of the daily activities planned!

9:30 – 11:30 am                      Pi Run -----1k Run at 9:30 and 5k Run/Walk at 10:00 at Kay-Nah-Chi-Wah-Nung Historical Centre

10:00am – 5:00pm                 Vendor Blender in the Millenium Hall

11:00 am – 4:00pm                Kids activities by the Stratton Best Start Hub

Noon                                      Parade line up on Cameron Rd. 

12:30 – 1:00 pm                     Parade (will run from Cameron Rd. to Our Lady of the Way School)

12:00 – 3:00pm                      BBQ – Free Hot dogs, chips & pop/water on the deck at the rink, brought to you by the municipality of Morley and Stratton Rec

1:30 pm – 2:00pm                 Time Capsule drop off

2:00pm – 4:00pm                  Fastball game

4:00pm – 5:00pm                  Tug of war on the baseball diamond

5:30pm – 7:00pm                  Dinner on ice surface, brought to you by the municipality of Morley

7:00pm – 8:00pm                  Message from the Reeve
